Here are some pics of the filleting and feasting. Had my buddy Jeff over to try and stoke him out and say thanks for all the times he has taken my family and I out fishing.

Was a big dummy and cut the top fillets a little off center...no prob, used the thin piece from the oversized one for sashimi along with all other scraps and the "frills".

Yes, I know I can get worms and die from eating it without freezing first.  But it sure tastes good!!  :smt003 :smt004

We did the fillets with this Piccata recipe that fuzz gave me...super easy, very tasty and didn't overcook or get dry at all!!

Halibut can have worms that can make you sick if not cooked or frozen thoroughly.

Lol I never freeze fish I always cook my catch the day of or day after I catch it.but I appreciate the feedback.
