the weasels seem to have it down.  one paddles, one sits in the tankwell and they drift or troll.
they even had dual rods going today fora bit.

today they got a DFG-standard-issue rainbow on a toplined roostertail.  a dramatic net got some
applause from the bankers,  :smt005

we had to launch non-standard because a practice triathlon was clogging up the boat
ramp and no launches allowed there.

hope the salmon guys did good, I wanted to go, but one can't do everything.

Way to keep after it J. Remember those two are going to decide which nursing home you go to later on in life.

How far apart in age is the fishing team?  I ask as my two sons 12 and 13.5 would most likely try to paddle in different directions.

oh and your DFG trout beat 5 of us for salmon on the bay

yeah, your kids probably need their own separate kayaks! my boys are 2.5 years apart,
but you know how it goes, it's just sort of luck that they get along like they do.
but I'm sure they'll get into it here and there.

I didn't see a whole lot of fish caught that day only theirs. I didn't catch anything either!
at least last week I outfished them by a crappie. the older one had a few tangles with
new line leaping off the spinning spool, at least that is my excuse for being outfished
second time out with them...  :smt003

Ha! You'd better watch out! They will make a habit of outfishing dad.  :smt002 :smt002 :smt005 :smt005

mooch, I'm teaching them everything, let them pick what they like...  :smt004.

the younger one will be a surfer I think...   his skateboarding skillz are coming along.

one tip, if they challenge you to a game for money on the playstation2... don't take them up on it,  :smt013.

I do need to start bringing that camera tho. some action shots would be good.

Tell the kids WTG. We should have a Jr AOTY contest. It would have to be handicapped to account for Jelly and other ringers.
