I'm on a boat

I tried posting a previous report but the site redirected me to the start a new topic 2x -- maybe because of the imgs that I was trying to upload. Is fishPron not allowed?  (tried again and still no luck so I'm going to post links instead)

Here it goes... on 6/25 I went to drakes in my buddy, Mitchell's grady white and we scored 3 for 2 with a couple of hogs. The very next day, I decided to take the new to me arima sea hunter that I've been modding for it's first open ocean voyage. She handled well and gulped 27 gallons for a 100 mile round trip to the same spot. Sadly, I suck at solo netting off of a boat (yak is so much easier where I'd lose 10%) and missed 3 good ones. Well, the goal of the trip was to launch, fish and make it back in one piece so I was at least happy with that. All of the fish were ~25' otw so they were hot and at the boat in a crank or two.

Second trip would be this past sunday at Mussel. Man, was the forecast off.. way off. 20 knot south wind and it was a full time job just keeping the boat straight. I fished for a few hours -- which was a few hours too long. Had I hooked up, I woulda paused for a second if I should pick up the rod or not lol. Made my way back to Hmb and noticed a few boats on the outside... hmm.. did it start already? I was already beat up and mentioned to the wife that I was heading in so I didn't give it a try. I saw Khanh at the ramp and he joked that the arima was smaller than my kayak -- it's a lot dryer tho! He also gave some intel about what was happening outside.

I couldn't make it out on Monday, so I launched at daylight on the 4th. Made it out to the buoys and was able to add some mojo to the boat. 30' otw and they're hot. Scored 2.

I guess 1 attachment (or 2-3) works but I tried 5 and no dice.
