Me, papa Bill, Bill Senior, Allen / Pole Pole, Scott Thornley will be looking for some Halibut and possibly some stripers. Company Welcome / channel 69. Launch at the windsurf spot at sun rise.....

Finally, salt... the anticipation was killing me.  It's not the open ocean but finally somewhere besides Del Valle.  :smt003

I should be out there bright and early.

Note: I really do like paddling lakes, Del Valle in particular...but I need some different scenery.

Is there a charge to launch at the windsurfer ramp?

No charge to launch and free parking. It does not get better than that!

no charge period - even if you launch at the boat launch .....it's a groovey thing:smt002 The Wind Surfer launch is less crowded and closer to the parking lot.

Good intel J, thanks.  Gotta get my feet into the salt though...the anticipation is killing me.  Had the yak for about 8 months now and it still hasn't touched the salt.

Maybe Sunday...gotta try to beat Mooch's 10.9# trout...or at least rack up a point or two for the AOTY.
