I saw this guy at Hell Hole today. Him and his buddy were taking a load of gear for camping. He said this was the maiden voyage. I guess he figured the middle of the lake was a good spot to find out how it handles if the wind comes up.

I said something about wearing a PFD and he pointed at some black neoprene and said it was going to help hold up the sail. I wonder if my comment made him rethink it. 60 degree water and it can get pretty rough out there. His buddy had a big inflatable canoe but he didn't wait and left him on his own.
