well, a few of us will be at fort ross getting our abalone saturday morning. please join if you have the time. we plan on arriving around 830-9am.

we will be using the small cove where its protected to the point and if the vis is even there we might look in holes for fish.

this saturday looks like a carbon copy of last weekend with the same sized swells. the beauty of this cove is that its easy in and out and the swells dont really hit it unless its coming in from the very south direction.

i think we could have been on our way home in 30 minutes last time. i was busy making pals with sea cucumbers and urchins.

I've been hoping someone would post a hook up for something like this... I would really like to have someone show me the ropes, I've never picked abs.  Unfortunately I wont be able to make it this time.  Hopefully you'll post another sometime soon.

I'd like to join you as well, but I'm signed up to a "wooden boat challenge" at the Bodega Bay Fisherman's Fest.  If you're not in a rush to get your Abs cleaned you should stop by.
