Salmon this weekend?

I am still looking for an opening work and weather wize for chasing salmon off Pt. Pinos.  While the great weather we have had all winter appears to be over for now, there may be enough break between storms on Saturday morning for some action.  I plan to launch at Coral St. rain or shine Saturday morning about 6 or 6:30. Company definitly welcome, ch 69 once on the water.  I have been dying to get out there again since the opener and over time am becomming less and less concerned about the nasty conditions out there.  Work has been particularly stressful and I need to get on my yak this weekend no matter what.  It is becomming less and less about fishing and more about just doing something I enjoy to escape the BS at work.

Predicted conditions look decent for Saturday, sure better than the rest of this week, so I'll try to join you - but I can't be sure until tomorrow evening because of something I'm doing tomorrow that might take longer than expected.   I'll start getting my stuff together now.
Last Saturday's conditions were almost, but not quite good enough conditions to get to the deep water where the fleet was finding fish.  I hope it breaks the other way this time.

I might be in, need to check a couple of things.  If I can make it, I can't do an all day marathon, though (even if conditions allow). 

I can totally relate to the stressful work week (month for me)...  Nothing a little pink meat can't cure, though.  Cross fingers the forecast looks good.

I'm There this weekend, Solo, But was planing on just going out for a few dabs and trolling on the way out  to the sand dab grounds where I could just relax and not worry to much about the weather or ocean conditions.

Sackyak, if it turns out to be a easy launch and land from Coral, I consider joining you but if not I'll be scanning all vhf channels so at least we could give reports in the area were in. Good luck if i don't see ya!

That would be the area we are targeting assuming we can get there with the wind etc.  I figure if I go enough times I will score eventually.  Thase are some really nice big fish.

No problem.  I usually get home about 6 and will call after that.  I can direct you to the launch and parking is right there no need for wheels etc.

I'm in.  I'll try to get there between 6-630. 

I'll be there- hope for 6:00-6:15.  Conditions look pretty good, the wind shifts to the south near noon.
