I've been wanting to add either of these kayaks for workout paddles since they are very good cruisers according to reports. I read where the Tempo is the French manufactured version of the Scupper Pro and here's my issue: I paddled the Scupper Pro around 10 years ago and remember it as having a narrow and uncomfortable seat for me at 6-2/218, 36-38" waist. I think it will handle my weight, but if a narrow seat, I'll pass. Could any of you SP owners give me width and/or comment on seating? Appreciated.
Comments about the SP (especially seat width) most welcome.

Has anyone paddled the Dag Midway? It looks to be a beauty, but concerned I might be a bit on the heavy side for it, especially if adding some camping gear.

More:

For those thinking Tarpon 160..been there, done that, not impressed. I had the Tarpon for a year and broke the plastic seat back in a surf/beach landing roll. Before that, the lock mechanism would never hold the seat back up and I had to resort to using plastic ties to lock it. Getting parts from WS was not easy. Yes, it's a bit quicker than my Prowler 13 and former Prowler 15, but I've never had a kayak (except for my P&H Capella sik) that would pearl so much. With the nose buried, it was always a question as to it coming up quickly and once it did not and I got rolled. Since I'm older now, just the thought of lifting that heavy beast on my vehicle makes my back ache. I did weight it once and thinking it was around 85lbs with rudder.

Feedback most welcome and thank you.
