Shaver Lake non yak report Sat. 4/14

Went up to Shaver Lake with a 2 buddies to try for Kokes.  Fished in a beautiful snow storm and boated 15 Kokes by 1 pm and called it a day.  What a nice lake.  Only 2 other boats out with us.  Hard to figure out why.  BUUURRRRRRRRR!  Fish were about 11-13 inches.  Lots of good lake fishing in that area once it warms up a little.  Sorry no pics.

Yeah shaver is great when its 110* down here.  lots of skiers on the weekend but great on a weekday afternoon. A castmaster by the dam to "shotgun" any fish hitting the surface.
