I have a Nissan marine outboard 9.8 short shaft. 4stroke tiller with a pull cord start. Very low hours. Bought sometime in 2014. Used on my portabote for close coastal fishing 2-3x a year with the wife.

Yes. 9.8hp at ~85lb is a little too heavy to lug around. 6hp should be adequate for my type of fishing

To be honest, I still need to look it up. Never sold a used outboard before, so I don't know their depreciation value.
