So we had a great time until...Monday A.M., Kim woke up violently sick at 2:30 A.M., my turn at 7:00 A.M.
We thought it was the crab we had the night before but later found out that two other people were very sick also. There was no common food between us the 24 hrs. before this and now believe it could have been E. Coli which can not show up until 3 days later after contact. So I'm just wondering if anyone else got sick on Monday or Tuesday ?.

I've been sick since Sunday morning but its only a common cold.
That's why I ended up shortening my trip and left Sunday evening.

I got a PM from another member mentioning the same symptoms as yours.

Sorry you guys got ill and hope all is well now.

I've had no GI problems from GS but in the Sac, Woodland, Davis area there is an outbreak of noro virus which has been causing bad GI issues locally.  Maybe made it up to Shelter Cove?

I woke up sick and nauseous  Monday AM and threw up violently in the am and at noon. I felt sick the rest of the day, but was 90% better by Tuesday am, done by Tues pm.  My wife was also sick but not as bad. I assumed it was some kind of food poisoning.

Damn!  So sorry to hear that.  My family had no issues.

As I'd said at the awards ceremony, I didn't eat in any potluck food - just tacos.

Sounds like there may have been one bad dish at the potluck?

Glad you guys are feeling better.

Are you thinking something at the potluck made you ill?

Since there was no common food between you in the 24 hr period.

I just had tacos and desert.

Could have been something at the potluck or maybe even the lighthouse pulled pork/coleslaw

I ate at the potluck, and had no issues. The only thing that I didn't eat is the dish that I brought  :smt002 :smt044
