Jet Kayak (sort of)

I was in Adventure Sports today picking up my new lithium battery for my FF. They told me about a new add on  "jet" motor comming out for kayaks. They are making custom mounts to use them in place of your rudder. They are not on the market yet but they look interesting.

First motor I've seen for kayak where I said to myself, "Now there's some real ingenuity!"

The guy at the kayak shop said $1100 something.

That is pretty cool, but I bet it drains the battery quickly at full throttle...

Jim from Santa Cruz Kayak (Baitman) had visited them and did his homework.  Maybe when all settled, he can chime in.  He said it's cheaper and last longer than the ultra lite torqeedo.

I think I saw 3 hrs at half throttle and 1 hr at full throttle.
