Hey yall, headed to point arena wed, plan to fish Thursday in Anchor but didn't know if there is a closer spot to point arena.  I know they launch boats but heard its with a crane????  I could look it up.......Lmao!!!!!  Headed to my BACHELOR party, hopefully fish, and game will be murdered.

There is a slot just to the south of the pier at Point Arena where you can get in and out of the water with your kayak.  It is shown with an arrow in the attached Google Earth shot.  There is also a small crane you can lower your boat down to the water with a ladder to climb down to the lowered boat.  It is shown with an X in the Google Earth photo.  Locals use both of these spots to get in the water.
