I'm looking to get out on Monday... hopefully for some Butts somewhere in the bay.  I'm debating between going to Paradise, Alameda, or Oyster Point...  anyone game?

OK Bill... OP it is... is this where you launch?

I'll plan to be there by 6:00 AM.

Would you think that making bait will be a problem?  Or should I bring some frozen chovies just in case?  I'll bring cast net and sabiki too.

We launch at the wind surfers ramp near the wind sock.

I would bring some chovies just in case, you never know if you are going to be able to make bait or not. Looks like high tide at 6:18 low at 1:01 PM so we will want to be careful since we will have to fight the tide and the wind on the way back in.

I plan on getting there right around 6 am.

see you guys out there. im going to try to launch about sunrise (5am or so) and paddle toward the airport and then catch the tide back. im trying all anchovies this time as well if possible. from what ive see i think that gives you a better shot at striper as well.
