Bolinas opener.

Launch was super hairy, got slammed 5 or 6 times in the face by incoming waves, but held my course and finally got through. Water was a bit choppy but when I got a mile offshore (25 feet deep)the wind kicked into high gear so I called it off, came back for a killer sideways landing, getting good at that. Spent 2 hrs fishing the inlet for a spunky little shark. No skunk for me, no salmon either.
Maybe try Sunday.

nice try Ben I heard a few good size fish were caught off Pt.reyes and the Whistle Bouy off Bodega but it was ruff 10' seas every 7 secs

Nice lep Ben.  Yeah, the weather system snuck in on us today.  I slept in.  I'd be interested to see what tomorrow morning looks like.  JTF..

Launched off of Muir Beach About 8 am trolled for about 4 hrs, nothing happening, beach landing was worst one yet, glad knowone had a camera it was REAL UGGLY oh well !!! I'll do better next time.

The shark was caught, non-yak, at the inlet with beer in hand. After a futile attempt at dux. Muir is promising for me 'cause its an easy 1/2 hour drive instead of over the hill at one hour.

Those conditions look HAIRY!!  I would have pulled the plug and went SHARKIN' !   Nice pic wit da shark Ben, all fish don't have to be yak'd........just HOOK'd !!
