I know there are tons of smart people here on the forum  :smt003, some more technically inclined than others....Im hoping 'and a praying that some of you might be able to help me trouble-shoot the slide-out issue we're having.

The trailer is about 2 years old, and has one Schwintek slide. It's been operating fine until a few months back, and it seems as though either one side is sliding faster than the other, or that one side is starting sooner than the other. It will start to move and then hesitate on one particular side.

I took a video but need to figure out how to post it here (it's an MP4)!

Ive watched a few You Tube videos on these types of slide-outs, thinking that maybe our slide needs to be re-set? But Ive tried those steps and Im not sure if Im doing it right.
To add to the frustration, when we got the trailer the dealership told us that we should stop depressing the button as soon as the slide-out stops moving. Ive now heard that no, that is not correct - and that we should actually hold-down the power switch for several seconds after the slide-out stops.....so we might have screwed the thing up ourselves.

Anybody have ideas on what we could do?

I'm also wondering - has anyone done business with Sac Valley RV in Loomis? I called them today and they think one of the motors might be going out. I just want to be sure they are honest and reputable (they did have good reviews online) if we end up needing professional help  :smt044

Looked like in the going out video that the left side hung up on that door?

I thought that as well, but as it turns out, it will do the same thing even if the fridge doors are closed (the fridge doors got caught for a second, but aren't the cause the slide-out issues). I was just a dork and forgot to close them all the way :-)

I almost swore on camera when I saw that I hadnt closed them while filming, LOL.

Are they hydraulic or electric? That short of a slide I'd be surprised if it had two motors, usually they have a gear and teeth with a cross rod that keeps them (both arms) in sync. Can you photo the underside in various position particularly when it hangs up? Video might help also PS we live in or 5th wheel full time and our old trailer had electric the new one hydraulics.
