I'm Scott Philben from Redding.  Grew up in the Midwest, moved to California about 25 years ago.  Been fishing all my life.  Nice thing about California is that you can fish in the winter without having to chop a hole in the water first!  Got into kayak fishing about 5 years ago and absolutely love it.  Mostly fresh water but venturing out into the salt in recent years; hope to do more of that.
