I have at least 30 salt water reels all from the early 80s.
All in great condition too  :smt001

My Dad passed away in January, so I inherited his stuff, there's an Ocean City in there that he had before I was born in 1952.  I'm gonna catch something with it this year, after that maybe put in the heirloom box for my kids.  I do stuff like that, and add a note to it so they'll know it's history.

My dad gifted me his Mitchell 308 from around 1960.  Still works great.

Forgot about those....I probably have about 3 of those too.

Those were probably my first ever reels.  :smt001

Mitchell and penn spinners, and penn conventionals, all older than me.  I do have a few newer reels but don't trust them as much.  None are sentimental, and mostly came from garage sales.

I have some old Abus,Penns, and Dam Quicks but they are just too clunky or tough to get parts for.  I have some shimano bantams and Dawia BGs that I use all the time bought in the 80s still going strong. I'm looking for a Bantum 50 for my new old Fenwick PLP845.

This circa late 60's early 70's ...My Dads' favorite, after some help from NCKA members with parts and labor , it has been restored enough to make  a few trips on the salt
