 I stopped at the Main Beach in Santa Cruz on my way home from a meeting tonight.  figured I'd give a try at stripers in the surf. 

It was a bright 3/4 moon and peaking high tide.  Right next to the Harbor Lighthouse.   You know I love that feeling of the whitewater rushing over my legs and feet, so smoothly.

And the visuals! So cool the way when the waves recede and leave a shiny hump of moonlit sand.

I noticed a rough sand patch in the moonlight and when I went to cast from that spot I realized I was standing on hundreds of wiggling sandcrabs!! Where are they when you need them?  Wishng I had a bucket to scoop some up and try for perch in the morning.  Well, I guess they'll be there tomorrow, I can always go back and for the secret sandcrab stash.

I saw a meteor streaking down to the SouthEast.  Wish upon a falling star, right?  My wish is that you'll soon be casting for stripers with me and our friends , in the moonlight, with hundreds of sandcrabs tickling your toes.

Come back Steph we need you.

But seen many smiling photos.
Alex "Bulldog" tried getting me to come to the 8th annual A-Hull Forebay Fish snd Chill last February.
Sorry I couldn't find the time. Looked like everyone had a blast by the photos. When I seen photos of you with your smile I thought that I'd like to meet you at one of the events.
You have a wonderful Spirit Steph.
Wanted to let you no I like pop corn also, and look forward to popping some with you over the lying fire.
