What goes around comes around, so sad that people have to be this way.

No it doesn't. That's just what people tell themselves to feel better. There is no cosmic karma (other than the fact that we will all die), there are only repercussions to actions... sometimes.

+1.   I say it all the time just to make myself feel better, but we can all agree that some of the most horrible people live great, long lives while some of the nicest people don't make it to 50.

Really unfortunate how some people think nowadays.

I once saw an older man walk out of a Safeway up in Oregon and some bills slipped out of his pocket and fell to the ground. He kept walking, so I decided to run over and see what he'd dropped, figuring it was a few bucks. It was a stack of fifties. I shouted to him and he turned around and his jaw dropped when he saw all his money scattered at my feet. He scooped up the bills and hurried off to his car. He barely thanked me as he was too busy cursing himself, but I'm sure he was grateful later.

Another time I found an iPhone on the street. I took it home and waited for it to ring, and sure enough the owner called and we arranged a hand off.

It always feels good to return something to someone. It disappoints me that the world is so rife with thieves and people who take advantage of others' misfortune.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

I remember finding a wallet in the shitter at Van Damme. I stopped counting at $400. Started calling out the dudes name until I found the rightful owner.

Ran a bookstore for 13 years. Biggest shoplifting item in the store? Bibles. If we would catch them they would always tell us that they
will be forgiven. Being a good christian I guess that's true. We would still have them thrown in the slammer though.....
See you at church Sunday....!    :smt006
One of you guys needs to throw in a good mushroom recipe

I thought the title said Morales and scruples. First thing I thought was uh-oh, what did Andy do this time?

I was working on an older gents Ford Ranger and I had to remove the rear folding seats and trim to do the repair. Way the hell down in the back was an old, old wallet. It had 350.00 in it. I got the number and called. It was his Dads truck who had dementia. I told him I found an old wallet and he came and got it. He tipped me a 20.

Another time I bought a totaled car from a lady in as is condition. She came and removed all her stuff from the car. I paid her and she signed the title over. In the ashtray two days later I found 83.00. I bought steaks. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Just this morning Becky and I were at Ice House. Near the dumpster she saw a cell phone.
I hollered to the three guys in the aluminum boat just as they were getting ready to take off.
Turned out it belonged to one of them.
Becky ran it down to the dock.
Once again, glad we found it and not someone else.

While fishing with a group over here on the Sonoma Coast one of our guys found a wallet on HWY 1.

The address was close my my home in Santa Rosa. So we all agreed that I take possession and return it .

After finding the home ,  I knocked on the door , introduced my self and explained the situation to the woman that opened the door .

I received  a  " That MF`r was supposed to be at work "  ... she SLAMMED the  door ..LMAO..grateful as I was walking away that I don`t wake up to either one of those folks in the morning   :smt003
