Fall River

I know most of you folks this time of year are on the launch pad for rock fish and salmon. Was just wondering if anyone might have gone to the Fall River in late April or May of last year?  Found a post discussing using a kayak and getting upstream - but that was about it. There's plenty to read on the fishery up there - just wondered if someone had any personal wisdom to share on the Fall.
