I messed up a connector piece on the lower circuit board of my treadmill.  It just happens to be the piece that connects to the upper mother board.  Anyone have experience with this stuff?  The treadmill is old but it's pretty solid.  I'd like to fix it if possible.

I called the manufacturer and the board is no longer made.

It looks like a LAN connection! You can probably buy those at Radio Shack Nate.

OK, thanks.  Those wires are soldered onto the board and that black plastic block receiver just facilitates the wires to the right slots.

I'll bring the pic and look for a replacement.

Looks like a RJ45 jack. Easy to replace and cheap too, less than $1. You can buy it at Jameco in Belmont, or online at Mouser, Digikey.

yeah, if you've got a soldering pencil and a solder sucker, it's a pretty simple repair, and cheap.
