Die hard potentially returning to Northern Ca

Hello all and thanks for the add!
I am a native Californian who is trying to return to California after nearly 10 years in the Navy.  I have been fishing since before I could walk and kayak fishing consistently since 2013.  I have yak fished many locations, from La Jolla to Yellowstone NP to Cape Cod. I do many types of fishing but I mostly enjoy catch and release monster striped bass fishing here in Long Island Sound. 
I am hoping to use this forum to find out information regarding the area I finally get a job out there to determine what type of fishing I am going to be doing next.

Haha! Thanks guys! Out here, that striper is just a baby.  I'm really hoping to come out there and have just as much fun as I did out here. The community is really great. From what I have seen on this forum, you guys are just as fun.  I can't wait to get into some great fish and great times!
