I just gave up one of my spots...but it's up to Bill and the wait-list to see who gets it.

I don't know about you guys, but I am fired up for Elk. Anybody prefishing friday?

that hill ain't got no game, i pull my xfactor, a 60lb stringer of fish and 12 empty beer bottles up there faster than anyone, except zilla; he trains on that thin tahoe air.

OK Chris has to wear his hocky skates on the hill or tow my yak behind his, I'll even get out of it for him. Speaking of smack talk, I'll guess winds of only eight miles an hour on the day of the tourny!

less wind would be good this year, there were a lot of pukers last time, i was close, i tried to follow someone [i think it was chef] to a deeper reef, but i had to turn back.

I just now got the word that I am in for this year. I'm glad I've been training on the 4-mile hill and paddling each weekend. O Giant Ling, prepare to be subdued. Now to go out & buy a suitable sized ice chest...

 I didn't even know Elk was happening this weekend until about 2 hours ago. Since I had pretty much figured I wouldn't make it in this year I hadn't been paying attention.
