Blue Lingcod blows minds

Posted a 60 second vid on Instagram last Wednesday night and instantly saw it was getting a lot more views and comments etc than any other vid I had ever posted.

Not cuz of the size of the fish (modest 30/31 inch Ling), or the quality of the footage (it's ok), but because people from all over the world are tripping on the color of the Ling.

 

Then some other sites shared it and got even more traffic...

It now has well over 125,000 combined views that I am aware of...

For comparison most of my vids don't even get 1,000 views and I think my previous most "popular" one had like 8,000ish.

The internet is a crazy place...never would I have imagined this little fish would get more attention than any other vid/pic/report I've ever done.
