Since you're posting in the introduction section, maybe you might consider introducing yourself.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

Hi, everyone,

I have been fishing out of my canoe for about five (5) years and it provides great utility. I prefer this canoe because its light and I can carry it on my shoulders. Here is my setup, its simple and gets the job done.

Wenonah Adirondack 16'
55 lb. Minn Kota Traxxis
Humminbird 170

Favorite Places Fished:
Table Rock Lake, MO
Ca Delta
Castaic Lake
Clear Lake - Personal best here 7.5 lb.

I hope to use this website to meet like-minded fisherman and learn new things. I know this is a 'Yak'n' site, but canoeing is one-in-the-same and I share the same passion, fishing. I plan on hittin' the Delta real soon and will share some pics.

Target: I caught a 3 lb between docks and a 15+ lber came up and tried to eat it. I plan on going back to that spot and try to catch my personal best.

Try the search function on the top right . Actually you have to post 10 posts before you have access so we no you are not a robot.  :smt002

Been way to loooooong since I bass fished and I have so much tackle for it. Hope to dust it off this year.

Hi LoletaEric,

I will keep you in mind. Floating down the river catching steelhead looks amazing. I would definitely consider it after my fractured ankle heals.
