Are there crawdads at San Luis Forebay?

I want to drop some crawdad traps and wondering if there are crawdad there?

Sure. If you like the kind with three eyes and three claws. I personally wouldn't eat them from there. Might be good bait. Ask FM1 about his place down south near King City. I would eat those from the river there. If that's what your looking to do.

I love the high mountain lake mud bugs, clean and tasty! These are from little Truckee River, sautéed in garlic and butter over a campfire. Damn good if you can beat your kids to get one!
