I got several chances to watch Matt Ryan played at BC, he was very good, humble, athletic, and smart.  When he went on to the draft, there was lots of fan (aka friends that I know) that were disappointed that the Pats didn't get a chance to have a go at him (Pats forfeited their 1st round draft due to Spygate).  I must admit that I thought it was a very tough come back after the 1st half.  'glad they hung on.

Regardless who you root for, you gotta admit that was a very good game (way too entertaining).  A game worthy of the Super Bowl championship.

Atlanta is going to be very sick next year, 'glad that the game went to the Pats. I must admit it was a very very thin margin, it could've gone to either team.

When I left for work last night it was 28 to 9.  When I got to work it was 28 to 28.  WTF Happened??? 😮
Good thing I recorded it.  I have to see this epic meltdown.

The Falcons were revved up, flying around the field and playing with high emotions. I think I heard a Falcon coach quoted after half time that they were now playing down hill. It's easy to lose your edge when you think you have it at half time. The Patriots didn't give up and the Falcons couldn't keep that level of emotion up through four quarters. Add to that some breaks for the Patriots and they were able to score 31 unanswered points.

This Falcons team will go down in history as the most poorly coached 2nd half...especially when they had 1st down on the 22 and didn't run the ball. Horrible play calling. Just like the last time NE won it...when in doubt, run the ball! Especially when you have 2 certified studs in the backfield. But it makes perfect sense. The guy charged with calling the plays on Offense? He was already locked in to be the Niners next head coach (in a move that might've actually brought a glimmer of hope to my bumbletarded team).
Clutch play by Brady. And amazing catch by Edelman. But the Falcons blew it.

The 49ers should totally hire that Falcons offensive coordinator as their head coach.

You must have been saving that one for a while, waiting for the right time to strike. Execution could have been better. 5/10.

Sorry I missed this thread during the SB. We have been taking care of Jan's elderly Dad. He is 88 in assisted living and suffering with dementia. His time on this earth is limited, and we have been seeing him when we can 2-3 time s a week for her, and I go 1-2 times every two weeks with her.

Guys, as the token Patriot fan, these Goodell/Hitler video's have had me cracking up since week one of the season.  To be honest and fair I was having flashbacks to the '85 Bears game. It was that bad, as many of you know I don't have television. I watch games via radio and ESPN Gamecast.  I had to turn the radio portion off at 21-0 I was so fracking upset. I started looking to see if the Falcons had a  350 LB Lineman that looked like Fridge Perry running into the end zone, then the nightmare would of been complete.  I told GF score was 28-9 with about a quarter left. I wasn't expecting the come backs of all SB comebacks, but Tom took his underdog pill and unleashed like it was no ones business.  Frack, I know a lot of you hate the Pats, but damn what a game! Sorry I missed this thread till now.  I have enjoyed the ride since BB came to NE. It won't last forever, Brady is always one hit from being into forced retirement.  But hell it has been a ride, far better than the run from 1967 when I watched my first game to the Tuna, or Pete Carrol era. Tuna will be from now until eternity persona non grata in Foxboro as far as I am concerned.  I have no respect for him. He hasn't done jack crap since he left NE. Sorry separate rant.
