Filled it with beer and put one 20lb bag of ice in it Friday morning around 9AM headed to Crabfest.
I just emptied it 5 minutes ago, nothing but Coke left, and it STILL had ice in it.
Friggin' love this thing!
6.5 days, one 20 lb bag, and still cold.
Worth every penny.

I've been eyeing those. It has a cutting board and other goodies doesn't it?

I like the convenience of the Engle latches. Super easy to open and close.

My dad uses one in his Rock Crawler. He swears by it. I'd have one but out of my budget!

Wait are we asking about the rum or the coke? I vote rum I always got a Coke Zero around somewhere. Them coolers are bad azz but out of my fixed income budget, hell it takes me 4-5 months to buy an additional kayak.

I got mine for $265.
When I started to figure the savings in less ice needed and it lasting longer coupled with the fact I don't have to take the time out of my camping trip to run to the store to get more ice, nor do I have to spend the gas getting there, it made the price a little easier to handle.
Plus I won't have to be purchasing a new one every 3-5 years...no brainer.
I used to cringe when I saw what these things cost, but I think, in the long run, it's more expensive not to get one.

Haven't heard of em but that sounds like an exceptional cooler with a fair price. I have to say that I really do prefer the latch system over rubber latches as long as they can also be replaced down the road. Sadly I didn't pull the trigger on the RTIC but this will be one to do some more research on for my next cooler.

If you want to save a few more bucks, or last longer than ice can provide you for those really long trips, or just don't like the idea of stuff getting wet when the ice does eventually melt, I can recommend these;
https://www.amazon.com/LG-Cooler-Freeze-Packs-0-F/dp/B00V9ITMYC/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1486479651&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=cooler+freeze+packs

Comes in a slightly smaller size too;
https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Shock-Shock-1-18F-Dry-9-Inches/dp/B01ACCBQG2/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1486479651&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=cooler+freeze+packs

These things are pretty amazing technology.  The way they work is that they stay at their cold temperature the whole time they are a solid, then melt at their predesigned point.  The process is called 'Phase Change'.  The pack's contact temperature remains at 18 degrees until the entire contents is at 18 degrees.  Freeze it to zero, it will measure 18 degrees until the whole thing is 18 degrees.  Just gotta be careful not to put directly in contact with some stuff or it will freeze it.  Added with ice, it will keep the ice from melting.

I really like how much colder it keeps beverages.  If I lay it on the bottom of my cooler and place coke or other soda on it, they stay nearly slushy.

You can pre-shape those things before freezing.  For example; bent at a 90* angle for fitting corners, tubular for a bottle of wine or whiskey, a way to quick chill a beer that wasn't prechilled, etc.  (Yea, I like my whiskey freezer cold)

They don't have to be stored in the freezer between uses, just have to remember to freeze 'em 24 hours before you take a trip.  I imagine the RV's freezer would freeze them too, so if you have extras, store in the RV freezer, then rotate and you should never run out.
