oyster point halibut

went out today(3/29)on a boat with a buddy trolling with herring and a dodger between sierra and hunters point(the A) in 11' at slack tide and my buddy hooked & landed a #21 (38") butt.just figured id share the report even though i was'nt on my yak(though i should have been because it was glass flat from 7:00 to 2:00.

good report, nice to know it was glass out there till 2.  its been getting real windy on the eastside by 11 for the last couple days.  were you guys picking up any weeds or junk on your trolling rigs out there? 

I hate that WIND!!  thanx for the report 123!  it has been blowin' up here too, starting in the a.m. all week!

no,    was'nt gettin to many weeds at all , but my trolling rig never really gets to much tangles or picks up to much garbage.
mainline to release sinker with 1.5' of #50 mono to #1 weight. then off of release size 0 dodger to 3' #40 wire leader to hook with stinger.
