I offered, she wanted to walk. Would have been easier to have her wait with the bags in the parking lot next to the lodge.

In all reality I toned it down because I was driving. I'm sure the bill for the lodge would have been a lot more because we would have been walking, not driving.

What a Christmas time....NOT  .  Sorry to hear about the lack of pro active, check it out customer service.   Having to park out in "Bear Country"  , Poor Form.
Now my Christmas stay at  Hotel Stn.  52 in Kings Beach with posturepeidc beds... ooohhh so comfy (did not see that comfy bed for 36 hrs running calls), Never ending HotHot water for showers (did not get to see that either), Huge Ham Dinner with all the fixns Christmas Eve ...not...  pesky calls, OK try again with the Ham dinner Christmas Day  .... afternoon. ..evening  .....  830 pm cold ham and potatoes delivered to us on an incident  .   BUT at least I go to park my 32 ft , lifted 4 wheel drive Fire Engine in my immediate vicinity for 48 hrs    .  May Your New Year be Joyous and Happy and full of available parking  .

They posted a response to both YouTube and Yelp, copy and pasted one from the other. I wish I knew how to respond to a comment on Yelp because I'd do the same copy and paste from my comment on YouTube.
I still laugh at the business model thought process that went into their decision.
Let's see, we could forfeit the $20 and give him somewhere closer to stay which would have resulted in an extra $400+ in their pockets...but wait, here's an idea, let's make him park far away and try to squeeze $20 out of him, knowing it will piss him off..  no, wait wait...let's give him free parking and make him park even farther away...that way we'll get ZERO extra dollars out of him.
It even makes me laugh.

How much you wanna bet assholes with rv's ran their generators all night resulting in a never again decree by management.  Big dummies should have bent the rules for you given the situation.
