The Electric Boat Shadow Cliff Report 3/24/07THE RESULT

While you were here and there sitting on and paddling your Kayaks( i really do envey you) I took the electric Boat for a troll. 7:30am till 2pm The results was a 8.5lb planter 24.5 in long.My largest planter so far Trolled an orange Sepps grub behind a Wiggle-Fin behind a sepps dodger. (Figure that one out) at 21ft
in 26ft of water.Took me around the boat several times. 3 others made it to the net but were DFG size.Fishing inspite of my catch was slow they haven't planted for one and half weeks. I did witness a fisherman in a 9 or 10ft Hobbie peddler with a 2 downrigger setup(scottie lakers)he had the drill down on deploying same

Yeah, the newbie would also like to see a pic of your setup--I know a grub and a dodger but not the Wiggle-Fin.  Once I think I'm getting closer to understanding "fishermanese," you guys throw a new term out there! Keeps me alert.

BTW, it was good meeting you the other day and, of course, gleaning even more fishing tips from one in the know!

On the wigglefin set up, the website demonstrates  possiable ways of applaction. Being a troller there is constant motion.I think it would work well using a kayak and you don't have to go fast to have an effect I bought the $29 kit and it covers all aplacations for disc size and color.They are a proven item. There is a guide service that uses them at Berryessa for Kokes and trout trolling

WTG. Don't you get tired of eating trout? My wife sets a species limit then I have to CNR since my freezer is full. Thought Santa was bringing you a YAK.

Reading on the web about kayak action(outtings and catches)(you kayak because you can) inspires me to fish.You Kayakers are very open and shareing.most informative. I thank you. I rely on my electric boat for stability (safty) mental and phyfical theraphy and relaxation. Most of the methods i apply with my EB you do with your Kayaks.I am no way an expert I just like to share what worked for me. You can go many more places then me.When my battery gets low you just keep paddleing. I do have a 2 seater and at times (during the week) if you want to relax and a change of pace at one of the locals just PM me. I do not believe in freezing my catch. What i can't eat fresh i share with those who like fresh fish.

Good tip on the use of the wigglefin.  I've never seen them before.
