Undecided which to fish. Reports of both doing well.

Hope to put my Dad on some fish ! More than likely we will be boating .

Have the rest of the week off and till next Tuesday. Hope to get in a day on the ocean and maybe some perch fishing .

Let me know if your going out anywhere near Monterey or surrounding areas.

I have Big Hammers with a Christmas tree, Santa and one with ornaments!  Just hope they stay together.

Made ourway to Los Vaqueros early this morning with my Dad. Arrived to little bit of a drizzle and some wind. Wish I had never started chatting with the guy at the entrance. He was mentioning that it would be windy and boating would probably close early do to it. Since the conditions did not sound favaorable, we decided to bank fish.

The wind never picked up and the drizzle subsided after about an hour. Oh well. 

Hung out with my Dad talking and telling stories. 

Unfortunately my Dad only had one bump on a bait rod and that was it. I pulled one small planter and 3 3/4 lb lassen throwing lures all day.

All and all it was a great day hanging out with my Dad.

It was probably for the better. I think we had more quality time than if we had been on a boat fiddling with everything.

Sorry to hear that Won. I have always tried to make a little time for my Pops here and there.  Plus I enjoy hanging with the Old Dude.  It has become a priority for me lately. I kinda had a wake up call as to my Dads age recently. He has had several of his friends pass away recently. One right in front of him at a softball tournament while he was talkin with the guy in the dugout.

Treasure you Family. We never know how long we got on this Beautiful Planet !
