calero LMB fishing

Just got back from a windy day out on Calero. "Pedal/paddle" ( I have a Hobie) around while dragging large minows on a bobber. Got one little guy on my first drift about a pound. I got about five of those little cookie cutters and also nailed two about three pounds a piece.

Saw one guy with a 5+ pounder and I took his picture with his camera. I also watched a guy get three good sized bass with his float tube parked in the shallows. Me, I launch a crappie ig next to him for giggles and end up with another cookie cutter bass.

Windy out there, but it is keeping me practicing.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day of bassin.

Thanks for the report, I've got to get back to Calero!

That little lake still puts out some nice bass even with some people keeping them. Five or six years ago a 10lbs bass was not to uncommon. Good job on the bass guys.
