I have never seen Bocaccio so close to the surface and as many as were biting. unreal. I am guessing they are typically  located in deeper waters from what I hear .We were fishing at about 150 ft deep max. Most of them were coming on the drop at about 60 ft. There was a lot of surface bait .

I hit my red spot with Alex but we couldn't get down cause the top water bite was crazy. I'm sorry for the disappointment! I think I destroyed the population. Sorry everyone!

First he demolishes all the Verms at Albion and now all the Bocaccio's in Monterey bay. I guess he might know a little bit about fishing .

Hoping to make it out one more time before the season closes. Have most of next week off. Need to enter one for Raydon's Holiday tournament. Still haven't decided on a holiday lure yet.

So just realized that I lost a red and white crab buoy with about a 3 foot aluminum pole attached to it at SWS on this outing. If anyone has found it. please let me know. Has Asigala written on it.
