Had to be out of the water by 1pm, so I made sure to hit the water early and was welcomed with a warm rising sun.

Working in the 50' range with my 75 Pathos. I was hunting for some olives and was welcomed with a curious ling, and a school of what looked like pile perch swimming by. Shot a couple of olives and kelpys and found a huge chuck of kelp ripped off the ground.
Moved to the shallows and switch over to my 60 Pathos. Found a crowded crack, stocked full with 4 MFEs, 4 BnY, 2 Cabs and a baby ling. Took the bigger cab and MFE leaving the rest in relief. Found a dumb curious grassy who swam right up to the tip of my gun, so I figured it was time for him to go. Exploring the nearby reef I found another crack stuffed with BnY, a tree rock fish and another Cab I added to my stringer.
Was able to end the dive with a nice beautiful 30" ling and headed back home.

Made a mango tequila ceviche, from the olives!

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

I need to get out soon.  Seems like it's been a little better south recently.
