Hello members. I am introducing myself to this forum to exchange information and meet fellow kayak enthusiasts.  I am recently retired,  and have started getting back into free diving for ABALONE and spearfishing. My spearfishing experience had been limited to a pole spear, but I am purchasing a speargun soon.  I just set a crab trap from my kayak for the first time in Tomales bay. Needless to say the crabs were safe from me.    Yet I derive great pleasure from just watching seals rising and pelicans diving near by.  Harvesting seafood is just the bonus.

Peace,  Jim K
