Been going thru the garage cleaning up etc fishing gear etc...

I'd be interested to see what everyone else does for storing gear ..not so much rods/reels got that covered, but jigs , lures , line , leaders , scents , leader material, plastics , hooks .

Do you sort and store by type , color ,weight , action , manufacturer  or by type of fishing ,salt vs fresh vs fly , Bass , Trout, RF, Surf

Drawers , peg board ,Plano boxes , shelves ..what's your game ?

Thanks VK/Vic

Rubbermaid make plastic cabinets that work great. I have one with three drawers. I have saltwater stuff in one drawer and fresh in one and random stuff in the third. It helps keep my gear somewhat less scattered. I still have fishing stuff in all my closets and garage too .lol

Repurposed an old armoire.  Though I think I'd like to get a rolling tool chest instead.  That or put the armoire on casters.  Hmmm.

Like the rolling idea ..how do you separate your tackle or do you ?

Plano boxes for fresh water tackle, swivels, weights, beads, chains, spools of leader, line, etc.  Individual vac seals for swim baits and hoochies.  Separated into barbed and barbless.  One tackle box always ready to go for ocean salmon.

Rods are in a rack.  Totes are packed with camping gear, etc.

But right now my garage is in a complete disaster.  I need to spend a weekend and get it back in shape.  Happens every football season.  SIgh.

Did the same here. Works surprisingly well, and kinda classes up the joint.
