At $9 to $11 for four big hammers I told myself, Self we gotta make our own swimbaits! I did a bit of research, youtube, and bought some stuff on Ebay and Amazon. So far so good, Im catching fish on them. I started thinking, every ling I have caught has yakked up a octopus! why not make a octopus? What do you think?

Awesome!  One idea, how about creating a cavity to infuse Octopus scene?  Same cavity can be used to hold a sinker.

Thanks my peeps! Not the first time pouring. I have been making other swim baits. I put a piece of felt in the bottom of some  of them to hold sent. I plan on a 3 or 4oz lead head in the head to try to make the legs spread when dropped, still gotta play with rigging.
The mold, I made. I made a clay octopus and used oomoo 30 from Amazon. The color is a mix of white, hot pink and a blue green. The eyes also came from Amazon.
when the water settles down I will get out there and try them out and post a report.
   Thanks again!
