New member here.  Pretty green to the kayak fishing scene, although I have been fishing for a good part of my life.  Just picked up a T13 and I'm really looking forward to getting it rigged up and in the water.

Welcome LeftCoast! I fish Bolinas sometimes and also Sausalito off the rocks! I would like to explore the area more as it's the closet place to put in to the ocean from me.

I'll be spending the next few weekends tying up loose ends before a month long trip to Thailand and India. I get back on Christmas Eve, so probably won't have a chance to fish before the season ends. There's always next year....

Good luck with your trip!  Dont go backpacking through rural roads in India without thinking security.  You should be OK in Thai, but be sure to get your vaccinations and know the travel advisory for both countries.  Sorry in advance if I am giving advice unnecessarily.

Yeah, the vaccination thing is no joke. Hepatitis A/B, typhoid fever, malaria... cost adds up quick when your health insurance doesn't cover travel-related vaccinations...
