FOUND GOPRO: Lovers Point

From the Monterey Bay Tritons Forum:

Hi fellow ocean lovers, a friend of mine found an underwater cam washed up at Lover's today. No details yet about make/model, I'll post those details when I get them. The cam was attached to a speargun, but the spear was lodged in some rocks, so only the cam was retrieved. Holler if you can help connect the dots, please repost on any other forums that might help!

Never thought of that. Time to get smart.
However, dropping my video cam is a long shot from the way I got it mounted but it wouldn't hurt to follow your suggestion.

Easy and free insurance in the future if someone finds one and has the heart to call/return it. I will for sure be doing this before I go out next-thank you! Also recently I have also been hearing more stories about Gopros being reunited with their owners after such incidences. Hope this is the same case.
