FWIW, when you posted asking how you might hook a salmon, my reply might have sounded harsh, but I was really just trying to give you good advice.  The part about if you think a motor is the way to go then a kayak board may not be the place to ask was related to the fact that you are a noob to the kayak fishing community.

Anyway, I never meant any negativity and think I gave good advice about how to hook a salmon.  Sorry if my reply was a negative one.
