I have the clip-on and the goose neck clamp ones.  I clamp the goose neck to the base of my FF.

For the clip on, I clip it on a velcro on my chest (I use a 2" wide velcro from home depot across my PFD front straps).  I tried to clip it directly on my PFD strap, but the position is not optimal for pic capture.  The chest, shoulder, and head straps are not working for me.

'didn't want to build a stick as I've used all of my rod holders and didn't want to drill for it.

For diving I just wear it on the head-strap under my hood...

Works fine for me...

Here is a recent compilation vid of some fish that I harvested over the past few years within daytrip distance of my house here in Watsonville....all filmed with GoPro on head-strap under hood.

Sincerely,

Jim

I was thinking,"Wow, the hali gave up so easily after the shot!"  Then I saw the last scene, never mind!  Epic video, monster striper!
