Had the chance to get Cody and Rich out on the bay this Saturday on my powerboat. Weather couldnt have been any nicer. The water was stained brown I guess from the kelp die off. We went to two hundred fow to start the day off with sand dabs. Loaded up and moved to the fishing grounds. Did pretty good with some good fish on deck. Mission today was to get the Brockmans some fish tacos. Had a great time hanging with my brothers and my boy Kris. Cant wait to do it again.  :smt006

Just kidding, I had a blast! Lost some good fish, caught some good fish, and lots of firsts were had! Cody had never been on a powerboat other than a charter, on the ocean. He had never driven a boat on the ocean. Had never caught a sand dab, got his PB Copper, ate an octopus dad caught, and he made my GF fish tacos! He made me go rest while he made his secret beer batter fish tacos. We cheated and bought salsa, forgot to get some of Andy's homemade stuff, but it was really good.
Thank you Andy and Kris, we had the time of our lives, and the weather was second to none! Great getting to see Sledge again, you look great brother.
Sunday, I went to church with my GF, and left Cody a list of projects. He got most of them done, some half-assed, but he was still working when I got home. I took him to the delta for some late afternoon top water fishing, it was too early, but wee did manage three decent stripers.
I completely over did it this weekend, I am pretty stiff and tired yesterday and today. I know I have to take it easy, and for a guy like me, it is hard to do.
Thank you again Morales clan, you are still an A-hull, but I love ya. OH, that TORPEDO was one of the better sandwiches I have had in a long time, thank you for that too.

Wow, right on for Cody, I remember the first time I piloted a powerboat on the ocean, you feel like a ruler!

Ahh, Kris is already a SuperHero, he just needs a Marvel show.

Heck yeah!!!

Great job Andy, Kris, Rich and Cody!!!

That red/brown water stretches all the way south past PG, past Point Pinos and at least down to Cypress Point...

Hope it clears up soon!

Sincerely,

Jim
