I guess it's OK to use two poles up there.

Be hard to fish two rods up in the basin from shore. Almost impossible.

it can be a cluster in the current especially with the snags around.  i usually only fish two rods when i'm on anchor in the AR.

While two rods is legal, consider what the hell you are going to do when u hook up a chromer on one. That fish is going to either get lost or tangle that other line.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Agreed. I fish 2 rods anytime I can, but for salmon when there is current, or even not, I am a 1 rod guy.

I fished further upstream a couple days ago. You might want to bring some striper gear....heavier stuff if you have it and maybe some stuff to catch live bait.
