Inland Salmon Size Limit

I'm reviewing the regs in preparation for fishing the AR this weekend. I can find a size limit for ocean salmon but not inland. Am I missing it or is there no size limit?

The only size limits I know of are up here on the smith and Klamath/Trinity. Under 22" is a jack. Jacks are the only salmon you can keep right now in the main stem Klamath below weitchpec since teh quota for adults was met (actually massively exceeded) very early.

Down there I don't Think they distinguish.

I wish they would come out and say no minimum size limit. The next time if I do miss the info I might assume there is no limit instead of looking harder. Saying "I can't find it so there is no limit or rule" etc is a bad policy when it comes to reading the regs.

Is that in the regs? If I missed something I'd like to review it.

The regs we see, and the F&G code, are 2 different things. The Code book is 3' thick.

It makes sense for no size limit. This time of year there are only adults returning to spawn right? So there would be no need to limit size to protect young fish. Still as disjointed as the regs can be it is risky to assume since it wasn't written where you expect it to be means you're good to go. Size limits are a big part of the regs. It seems reasonable that they tell us what it is and say no size limit if that is the case. I know, I'm expecting too much. 

If there is a size limit or restriction on a species they spell it out. If no limit or restrictions they say nothing.

There are several waters with no take allowed, and others with gear restrictions- barbless, hook gap etc. AR, is barbless to Ancil Hoffman Park. No restriction below that.

It is a complicated area. It looks like from Nimbus Dam to the Hazel Ave Bridge barbs are allowed.

Night fishing down stream bus 80 only. I caught a salmon at 2am there one time.

Do they have the barrier up yet at the hatchery?
