If it was not for NCKA, I will have not gone into kayak fishing a few years back and I would have most likely already quick. I find it inspiring just to read the stories and ask questions when needed. I also had the opportunity to participate to a few events and meet a lot of great people even if I rarely catch anything I still have a blast

As I was screen watching this thread page 3 populated. Damn! Busted! 

As a newer member I find that there is a ton of valuable information here.  When I feel I have gained the knowledge worthy of sharing I will.  But most of what I have learned up until now is already here.  Why rehash for the sake of airtime?

As for the forum not being up to an individual's standards, to each his/her own.  Take it or leave it.  Those who want to be here and enjoy the community and forum will stay.  That's what keeps it strong and enduring. 

I enjoy all the good advice, shared experiences both good and bad, ribbing, and Hojos "funny stuff" (and his 72 stamps on the box he sent the hanw trough in!).

That's what a community like this is. A microcosm of everyday society.
I think that a community that comes together to share in the lifestyle both on and off the water, both in fun times and in tragic times is something to celebrate. 

I am glad I found this forum and hope to be a part of NCKA for a long time.  I look forward to sharing what I learn from my experiences and pass on the knowledge I am learning myself as well as from all of the members here.

And I'm sure somebody here will buy your kayak when your ready to sell it ulisesv2013.
