(Hookup) Bolinas - this Saturday AM, 9/17

9/13 - See you all there, launching Saturday AM from end of Brighton Ave.



I've gotten the itch for chrome.  'planning on going to Dux Reef or Stinson beach this weekend (either Saturday or Sunday AM).  Anybody interested in joining?  Weather looks excellent so far.

Half Moon Bay has been pretty good too. 

I may be up for either on Sunday AM, as Bolinas is a little closer for me

I'm a newb to NCKA and will be at Bolinas this Saturday.  What time will you be launching?

Sometimes between 6:30am to 7am.  If you miss the launch time, plan is to head toward Duxburry Reef buoy.  Check your PM.

I am doing my damdest to get my shit done to make it as well! Newb too, I will show up at 5:30 so I don't miss you 😉 guys if I can pull it off.

Looks like we'll have a nice sized crew out there on Saturday!

Chinclan - I see you're new here. Got all your safety gear in order (wetsuit/drysuit, PFD, VHF, and compass at a bare minimum)? The Marin coastline can definitely get "sporty". Don't mean to discourage you; just want to make sure we all make it home safe.

Supposed to be some nice weather out there on Saturday, but that can change in a hurry.

Yes, definitely have the safety gear!  I've been out a few times in Fort Bragg and also in Trinidad.  In my younger days I did a lot of fishing, diving and spearfishing in Humboldt and Mendocino Counties.  Now that I'm semi-retired, I'm finally finding time to get back on/under the water.

Ya, seems like we have a bigger than normal mass.  Good weather, good swell, good temperature so far.  We have some wind today and tonight, so hopefully it will not carry over.  See you all there!

No need to answer if you can't remember the conditions of that day, what would you say it was.......swell @ what interval and wind speed, it is a good video for study and reality.
