My son and I are heading to Novato Saturday the 17th for soccer, and then we play at noon at Rohnert Park on Sunday.

Sandman is our favorite, but they're only taking a two night reservation at this time...

Anyone have a reco for a place with a pool and a real breakfast for around $100?

Thanks in advance.  :smt001

IDK what the Petaluma Sheraton charges, but that would be central.

I did call them back, and I got them to drop the two night requirement.  I went all the way through the reservation and was stoked to be getting the room, and then she quotes the AAA discounted price at $204!!  I'm like, "What?!"  She then tells me that the hotel sold a year ago and it's different now...

Sandman is no longer our favorite as of right now.

We're gonna stay with grandma if I can't find something inspiring with a pool and breakfast within 30 minutes or so of Rohnert Park.

Thanks for the advices, guyses.  :smt001

I stayed at the Best Western in Petaluma at Washington and McDowell earlier this year.  Easy on/off of the freeway.  Can't vouch for the pool since it was in a cold month but they did have one.  It was quiet and there's a decent Thai restaurant nearby.  I think it ran about $130.

Round Barn Hilton is where I stay. Nice hotel and pool area.
AAA rates, usually just over $100

I dont think so. Unless you have a special discounts. this place would normally cost $180-$300 depends on days you are checking in.

Yeah, Round Barn was bu-ku bucks and didn't have breakfast!  But thanks for the recommendation.  :smt001

I ended up booking Rodeway Inn for $129 with breakfast and a pool.  We're there to kick ass at soccer for two games in 24 hours, so all we need are a couple beds, TV, free breakfast and a pool!

A little ice for my beer is nice too, but I bring my own just in case!  :smt003

Good to know - thx!  Really love their pool and spa, and the whole idea of a breakfast that the kid will eat right on the premises is just joy for me as a parent!
