The beginning
After a phenomenal weekend of fishing up north, a few weeks back, with Tim (Krusty),
I had to give the north coast one more shot before closing the books for the year.
It was tough to stay back while most of the guys ran up north a few weeks back, but i knew will have my shot.

Short Report:

Day 1: Met up with Crazyfisher in Santa Rosa to caravan up on Friday morning.  We arrived at Shelter Cove at dawn after a long night on the road. Loaded the yaks and hit the water. First day we got raked by a million lingcods, but no love on the chrome. Day 1 scratch.

Day 2: Decided to hit up humboldt bay for a better shot at chrome. Day two was about losing fish. We worked hard to find the fish, but when we did, they were chomping. We found a school of feeding fish outside the north jetty. I lost two at the boat and crazy had multiple drive bys. We just couldn't get the fish to stick! Frustrating day.  :smt013 :smt013

Day 3: Last day--Last chance! I got a hit early in the morning by a screamer. She hit the  line hard and ripped of 30 ft of line before turning around and causing a mess. Long story short, i was able to land her. 15 lbs of chrome to go home.  We cut the baby in half cause we don't care about king solomon's justice. Taste good too.  :smt005

Final Thought - Some of my friends have been requesting me to do another LA video. I know it's been awhile so i decided to do one this trip. I tried something different by doing a voice over. Hope you guys like it. :smt002 For those that enjoy the creative writing, the full report is linked below.

great job on the report...nailed it!

I got a simmering glimpse into Lost_Anchovy madness and fishing lifestyle. Its truly is an adventure from start to finish. The fish is just a bonus but having the opportunity to experience it is unforgettable.

The salmon madness is slowly creeping or is already in the blood stream...looking forward to this weekend for some redemption!!

Uh...  We got some copyright issues to discuss, Chovy.  :smt005

You're the man.  I like how you brought another victim, I mean, uh, friend, up to witness you do the catching!  Hahaha.  Don't worry, Crazyfisher - you ain't the only victim of the Chove.

Loved the vid, buddy.  :smt001

I went out the following day and lost one at the boat in that exact same spot.  I'm a victim of the Chove too!

Way to get it done.  Much respect, my bro, and much love too.
